McDonald’s Black and Positively Golden Scholarship

Description: The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) and McDonald’s offer the Black & Positively Golden® Scholarship, awarding up to $15,000 to 63 HBCU students for the 2025-2026 school year. This program also provides access to a Black-owned mental health app, Alkeme, supporting students' well-being alongside financial assistance. McDonald’s has committed millions to education in Black communities, furthering opportunities for HBCU scholars.

Qualifications:

• Be enrolled full-time as an undergraduate freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior attending an HBCU during the 2025-2026 academic school year.

• Current cumulative grade point average of 2.7 or higher.

• Able to demonstrate leadership abilities.

• Able to demonstrate a financial need.

• Be a U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident.

Award Amount: Up to $15,000
